Cookie Policy
Last updated: 21 October 2026
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small files a site stores in your browser to remember information between visits. Similar technologies, such as the browser's local storage, do the same job. In this policy we call all of them “cookies”.
2. Essential cookies
They are needed for FlightTest to work and cannot be switched off from the panel. They are not used for analytics or advertising.
- Session (sb-…-auth-token, from Supabase, our database provider): keeps you signed in. It lasts until you sign out, up to 400 days.
- Language (NEXT_LOCALE): remembers whether you use FlightTest in Spanish or English. It lasts 1 year.
- Your cookie choice (ft_consentimiento): remembers whether you accepted or rejected analytics, so we do not ask on every visit. It lasts 6 months.
3. Analytics cookies (optional)
They are only switched on if you tap “Accept” in the cookie panel.
- PostHog (ph_…_posthog, cookie and local storage; PostHog, Inc., United States): stores a pseudonymous identifier to measure which screens are used, where people get stuck and, through session recordings, how the app is used. Everything you type is hidden in recordings. It is not used for advertising or shared with other sites. It lasts 1 year.
If you reject analytics, PostHog is not loaded in your browser and we do not send PostHog the usage events our server generates for your account either. The exception is payment and subscription events (for example, a charge or a cancellation), which we always record because they are part of managing your subscription.
4. Cookieless measurement
We use Vercel Web Analytics to count visits in aggregate. It uses no cookies and stores no identifiers in your browser, so it works even if you reject analytics.
5. Payments
When you pay for Pro, checkout happens on LemonSqueezy's page, our merchant of record. That page uses its own cookies, governed by LemonSqueezy's policy rather than this one.
6. How to change your choice
You can change your mind at any time with the “Cookie preferences” button on this page, in the home page footer or in Settings. If you withdraw consent, we delete the PostHog identifier from your browser. Rejecting analytics does not limit any FlightTest feature.
You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block the essential ones, you will not be able to sign in.
7. Record of your consent
Each time you accept or reject, we store in our database the decision, the version of this policy and the date, together with your account if you were signed in. We do this so we can prove your consent. If you delete your account, these records are deleted with it.
8. Changes to this policy
If we change the cookies we use, we will update this page and the date above, and ask you again in the panel.
9. Contact
For any question about cookies or privacy, write to jdaappss@gmail.com or use https://www.flighttest.io/contacto.
